The rest of today is free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (D)
After breakfast from your hotel, enjoy your full-day sightseeing tour of Hobbiton and Rotorua Sights Tour today. Leaving Auckland in the morning, we travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions. Your experienced local driver guide will provide entertaining commentary and point out historical sites of interest. Just outside the town of Matamata is your destination: Middle-earth! Sir Peter Jackson and his team knew this private farm would make the perfect spot to build the village of Hobbiton for the award-winning The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie trilogies. Take a guided tour and see the picturesque village you saw on screen in living color before you.
See the Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, the Party Tree, the Mill, and many other structures from the movies, while learning about how the set was built. You might even hear a few secrets from behind the scenes! Lunch inside Hobbiton is included.
You will arrive in Rotorua late in the afternoon. A guided tour of Te Puia, one of New Zealand’s foremost cultural venues. At Te Puia’s marae (meeting house) you will receive a traditional welcome and be invited to experience a Māori cultural performance with Te Po Hangi Dinner, in which ancient and modern stories are told through song, dance, poi, and stick games. You’ll gain an understanding of this unique culture and its history and be thoroughly entertained by the talented and charismatic performers.
Te Po Hangi Dinner is included. The rest of today is free at your own leisure.
Overnight at the hotel. (B)(L)(D)
Your journey to North Island comes to an end after your breakfast this morning in Rotorua. You will transfer back to Auckland for your flight to Queenstown.
Welcome to Queenstown! The adventure and winter destinations of New Zealand. You will be met & greet at the airport and will have a full glimpse of Queenstown for a sightseeing tour of Arrowtown and Kawarau Bungy Bridge. Discover beautiful Arrowtown’s captivating
history and colonial architecture. Highlights are the Lakes District Museum and the Chinese miners’ settlement, as well as plus boutique shopping, great cafés, and restaurants.
Then, discover the secrets of bungy- jumping with a behind-the-scenes tour of AJ Hackett’s world-famous Bungy Bridge and watch the jumpers from the viewing deck.
Transfer and enjoy your Gondola Ride with 2x Luge Ride at Skyline Queenstown where you will also have your buffet dinner at Stratosphere Restaurant. The rest of today is free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (B)(D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Take an unforgettable journey into the heart of Milford Sound, New Zealand's most famous tourist destination. You'll experience the world-famous fiord in all its natural glory – surrounded by dense rainforest, glacier-carved valleys, and beautiful waterfalls. Leaving Queenstown, travel in comfort along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and into southern farmland to Lake Te Anau, the largest lake in the South Island. Travel along the lake and into Fiordland National Park. Enter the picturesque Eglinton Valley, a place of
ancient alpine forest and gushing waterfalls and one of only a few road- accessible glacier valleys in New Zealand, and take advantage of the photo opportunities on offer along the Milford Road, like the stunning Mirror Lakes, where on a calm day the surrounding mountain ranges are perfectly reflected in the still waters, and Knobs Flat, where glaciers have carved their mark on the terrain.
At Milford Sound, board your 1-hour 45- minute cruise and set off to explore the
region that Rudyard Kipling called the 'eighth wonder of the world'. Travel the length of the fiord and out to the Tasman Sea, gliding past glacier-scarred rock walls and waterfalls that tumble into the sea. Lush native forest clings to steep cliffs, while wildlife including seals, penguins, and dolphins are regular visitors to the icy waters. Mountain ranges surround the fiord, including Mitre Peak which rises dramatically from the depths to a height of 1,692 meters above sea level.
A gourmet buffet lunch featuring fresh local ingredients will be served on board (included in your tour). Along the way, your captain will provide lively and informative commentary. After your cruise, return to Queenstown. Western dinner at the Prime Restaurant is included. The rest of today is free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Your day trip from Queenstown to Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to New Zealand’s highest mountain. Travel north, through the historic gold mining region of the rugged Kawarau River Gorge, and past Cromwell, crossing the Lindis Pass.
We continue through the rugged high- country landscape of the Mackenzie Basin to Mount Cook Village, where you can gaze up at the 3,754-meter-high mountain Aoraki / Mount Cook, an important landmark in Māori mythology. You will have a photo stop at Lake Pukaki lookout en route. Lunch is included at Alpine Restaurant.
Continue a scenic trip from Mount Cook to Christchurch through the lush farmland of the Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo, where you can see the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd as it stands in solitude next to the vibrant blue waters. Leaving Tekapo, we continue into the Southern Alps towards Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to New
Zealand’s tallest mountain. Along the way, your driver-guide will keep you entertained and informed with commentary on the area’s history and sites of interest.
The tour concludes on your arrival at Christchurch. A Vietnamese dinner is included. The rest of today is free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast from your hotel, enjoy New Zealand’s Ultimate Marine Experience.
Discover and be fascinated by Whale Watch, which is New Zealand's only vessel-based whale watching company offering an exciting up-close encounter with the world’s largest toothed predator the Giant Sperm Whale in their natural environment at all times of the year.
The main focus of your tour is to locate and view the Giant Sperm whale. An average of between 1 to 2 whale sightings per tour due to the length of time the whales can stay submerged. The whales from loose pods, keep several miles between each other, so viewing any more than 1 to 2 whales per trip is a real bonus.
Kaikōura is also home to around 75% of the world’s pelagic sea bird species which include Wandering and Royal Albatross, Mollymawk Albatross, Petrels, Shearwaters, Prions, Fulmars, Gannets, Terns, and Herons. Throughout your tour, there is an onboard visual presentation, “World of the Whales” – an experience that takes passengers “virtually” to the bottom of the Kaikōura undersea canyon. The presentation also provides
information on a variety of marine life found in Kaikōura waters. Lunch in Kaikoura is included. On your journey back to Christchurch, a Chinese Dinner at a local restaurant is included. The rest of today is free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (B)(L)(D)
Your journey comes to an end after your breakfast this morning.
You will be transferred to Christchurch International Airport for your International flight bound home taking with you the most unforgettable and lasting memories of a wonderful New Zealand. (B)
